CURRICULAR STRUCTURE

The curricular organization of the Law Course observes the legal determinations present in the Law of Directives and Bases of National Education (LDB) nº 9.394 / 96 and of the Resolution CNE / CES nº 9/2004.

The course project proposes the organization of the disciplines in a body of academic-scientific knowledge, understood as axes of fundamental, professional and practical training, systematized in thematic units that make up an inseparable whole, an integral part of the Curriculum Matrix, distributed in 10 (ten ) academic semesters.

When paying the full course load of the disciplines and mandatory practical activities of the Pedagogical Project of the Course, the student will receive the Bachelor of Laws certification.

 

Axes of Professional Training and Expected Hours

 

In order to avoid fragmentation, the curriculum is organized in such a way that the disciplines and practices are grouped around AXIS, each aimed at the constitution of a group of competences related to each of the dimensions present in the formation of the professional.

  1. The first axis of Fundamental Formation comprises the propaedeutic studies that cover universal mandatory subjects and general mandatory subjects.

  2. The second axis of Vocational Training comprises studies of the profession and refer to the mandatory disciplines of vocational training and mandatory specialization elective disciplines.

  3. The third axis of Practical Training comprises studies of practice, a fundamental link of integration between practice and the theoretical contents developed in the other axes. In it, activities related to Supervised Curricular Internship, Course Completion Work, Interdisciplinary Seminars and Complementary Academic Activities are offered.

The Projects and Legal Practices that make up this Center aim to provide the integration of curricular knowledge through a problematizing methodology, from seminars, workshops, investigative practices, case studies, real and simulated situations of legal practice and internships, aimed at the analysis of the problems of our reality, enabling interdisciplinary work, the theory-practice relationship and the production of knowledge in the area of ​​Law.

The supervised curricular internship will have 400h (four hundred) hours, being indispensable for the consolidation of the academic studies carried out. It will be developed in seven semesters structured and organized according to its own regulations, approved by Organs competent bodies. Complementary Academic Activities, in a total of 200h (two hundred) hours, are important enriching and complementary curricular components of the profile of the Law student.

The Interdisciplinary Seminars with 140h (one hundred and forty) that also make up the axes that cross the curriculum, understand the needs for the construction of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary concepts and attitudes of knowledge. In this regard, the Course proposes to integrate the relations of the Law, Justice and Citizenship tripod.

The Course Conclusion Work integrates the mandatory curriculum with 120h (one hundred and twenty) hours, divided between the Legal Research Methodology discipline, in which the student will have adequate guidance for the formation of the final project of the Course. It should be noted that the student may take courses outside of the above mentioned axes, subjects of free choice and optional subjects, which are those that are not part of the minimum mandatory curriculum, but which, when offered by the course coordinator, may be attended by the student with the objective of favoring their training in a certain area of ​​Law.

It should be noted that, considering FAP's commitment to the production of knowledge, and, as a corollary of the legal research resulting from the TCC, the implementation of the quarterly newsletter and a semiannual academic journal, within the scope of the Law course, to stimulate the dissemination of works produced by students, in addition to, of course, those produced by the faculty of the Law Course.
